Sounds like you made it through.
I'm happy about that.
Will keep my eyes open for the pictures, Joy.

i just talked to joy and she said to tell everyone they are fine.
they lost electricity so can't get on computers.. tornadoes came through awhile ago and killed two people, but they are doing fine, and have 5 strong young fellows, with them, to help when things get too bad later tonight.
the water is now in their yard, on the yard side of the picket fence, for those who have been there.
Sounds like you made it through.

we laid low for a week from picketing the kingdom hall.
i wanted to see how things would go with the emergency hearing before i continued.
because of the pending restraining order sara applied for, i cannot go within 100 yards of her or her husband, mark.
You know I love you Corvin.
And your protectiveness, caring and devotion to your kids is evident throughout any of your posts.
I know too, that like any parent (like me). I will fight to the death for my kids.
I really think you have a GOOD chance of getting full custody of your kids at this point.
I'm not sure what is the right thing to do, but be a bit careful about your strategies while you wait for the judge to make his final decision. He for the present has ruled in your favour.
Still got my fingers crossed for you, Corvin
((hugs))

p.s. If school hadn't started already, I say now is the perfect time to take a family camping trip or something like that (just for a weekend, or something). Get totally away from this with your kids for brief respite.
ok, i know we have experts here.. i've been looking at pda's mostly for the address book function / contact list function.
i keep my contacts on outlook on my laptop but its a pain to power up when i need to make a phone call on the road.
i also would like to get one of the map programs available for pda's.

My personal experience, so far.. is that kids are the greatest at any age.
I thought having teenagers was going to be one great big challenge. I was WRONG. They are great. I've never had a problem with mine, so far.
Oh. and I have a personal GPS for our family.
When we are driving somewhere and become lost my husband drives up beside someone walking down the street. I roll down my window and yell, "Where the heck are we?".. It worked well during hockey season last year. I was lost numerous times in locating hockey rinks.
That seems to work everytime for us. LOL
p.s. I noticed a lot of "On Star" commercials on T.V. lately. A service that is already comes as part of your car package. Anybody have "on star" on their vehicle.
I guess I'm way off topic now..sorry.

I'm only having fun with you Mulan..take this worry wart tension down a notch for ya.
I'm a worry wart too. It's my designated role in my family of boys..that's what I tell them and then ask them to humour me by calling me and telling me where they are, who they are with and what they are doing, when will they be home...the whole nine yards.
I appreciate what you're doing, Mulan (hugs)

...we are still in orlando....patiently waiting out the affects of ivan to go to pcb.

this past sunday on 60 minutes, there was a segment about the police investigation of a brutal rape and murder of a student at the university of oklahoma in 1996. the only evidence the police had was semen.
so, to catch the killer, police asked every innocent person that even remotely knew the victim to give them samples of their dna, imposing what are called dna dragnets.
many of the victim?s associates, mainly students, volunteered.

I just don't see the problem unless you get caught in a crime, which is not going to happen to me. I simply think it's a good idea, like fingerprinting, only better.
I'm thinking exactly what she said (for me) HOWEVER, Something just doesn't feel right about this. I can sort of see me digging my heels in and being pulled all the way to their database to be processed. Interesting. Special K

My 17 year old teenager has a
Palm Tungsten T.
He uses it all the time. He just bought a small collapsable keyboard for it and also has a little web cam for it.
He uses it in school everyday. Types up everything from the board and then downloads and prints it out via the computer when he gets home. Surfs the net with it when away from home. Sends me e-mails with it.
He just loves it and has downloaded all kinds of different programs for it.
The other day he even programmed it so he can turn on our television, up and down volume, change channels.
Techy kid, I have
